Billy Bajema

One of the top pass-catching tight ends in the BIG-12 Conference, Oklahoma State's Billy Bajema is also one of the school's most decorated student-athletes.

Possessing a double major in Business Administration and Pre-Medicine, Bajema has thrived academically. A two-time First Team Academic All-Conference and CoSIDA Academic All-District selection, he has received Oklahoma State's Academic Achievement Award three times. A six-time member of the BIG-12 Commissioner's Honor Roll, Bajema has also received President's Honor Roll and Dean's List Honor Roll recognition three times. 

On the gridiron, Bajema earned Second Team All-Conference honors in 2003 and an Honorable Mention in 2002. A leader on the offensive line, he has compiled more than 40 receptions and 600 yards in his career to date. Showing his big-play ability, Bajema caught a 58-yard pass en route to a career-high 99 yards vs. Oklahoma in 2003. 

A member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, Bajema volunteers with the Unity Council and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. A guest speaker at various Oklahoma area high schools, he also assists children with Reading and Math. He was selected in the seventh round (249th overall) of the 2005 NFL Draft by the San Francisco 49ers and appeared in 61 games for the 49ers from 2005-08. 

Bajema signed with the St. Louis Rams following the 2008 season and caught 31 passes for 310 yards and two touchdowns in three seasons with the Rams. He played two seasons with the Baltimore Ravens to finish his NFL career, helping the Ravens to a Super Bowl title in 2012. Bajema is currently an assistant football coach at John Marshall High School in Oklahoma City. 

When he is not coaching his kids, Bajema can be found tossing dough as a franchise owner at his metro Pie 5 locations.
