A four-year starter at safety for Fresno State, Vernon Fox led the Bulldogs to a 31-19 record, a WAC title and three bowl appearances. The team leader in tackles in 1999 (103), he ranks ninth in school history in career tackles (289). A two-time First Team All-WAC selection, Fox registered four career interceptions. A four-time Academic All-WAC selection, he was a regular member of the Dean’s List. Fox was signed by the San Diego Chargers and played two seasons each with the Chargers, Detroit Lions, Washington Redskins and Denver Broncos. In eight NFL seasons, he recorded 148 total tackles and two interceptions. Fox is currently an international motivational speaker based in Las Vegas, Nevada.
