A three-year starting quarterback for Georgetown College (Ky.), Eddie Eviston led the Tigers to a 41-1 record, three Mid-South Conference titles and two NAIA national championships in 2000 and 2001. A three-time First Team All-American and three-time NAIA Player of the Year, he holds virtually every school passing record and ranks in the top-10 for career rushing attempts (334), rushing yards (1,610) and rushing touchdowns (37). The conference leader in total offense in 1999 (4,293), 2000 (4,044) and 2001(3,796), Eviston holds the Georgetown record for career total offense (12,703). A First Team All-MSC selection, he was named the 2001 MSC Player of the Year after throwing for 3,514 yards and 33 touchdowns.

A two-time Academic All-American and Academic All-MSC selection, Eviston compiled a 3.9 GPA in accounting and was a three-time NAIA Scholar-Athlete. He served as an assistant football coach at Newport Central Catholic High School (Ky.), his alma mater, from 2006-09 before becoming the head coach in 2010. The Thoroughbreds won state championships in 2010 and 2012 with Eviston at the helm. After two seasons as the offensive coordinator at Georgetown, he took a head coaching position at Covington Catholic High School in Park Hills, Ky.
