A four-year starter at safety for Montana, Vince Huntsberger led the Grizzlies to a 45-10 record, four consecutive Big Sky titles and a Division I-AA national championship in 2000. He was named the MVP of the national title game after recording 10 tackles, a fumble recovery and an interception in a 13-6 victory over Furman. A three-time All-American and two-time Big Sky Defensive MVP, Huntsberger holds the school record for career total tackles (393). In 2012, he was inducted into the University of Montana Sports Hall of Fame. Huntsberger earned his M.D. from the University of Michigan and is currently an emergency room physician in Sandpoint, Idaho.
