A three-year starting quarterback and two-year team captain for Tulane, Patrick Ramsey rewrote the Green Wave record book and holds virtually every school passing record. The team leader in passing yards and total offense from 1999-2001, he is the only player in school history to pass for 2,500 yards in three separate seasons.  Ramsey completed 798-of-1,355 passes for 9,205 yards and 72 touchdowns in his career. In 2000, he was named Second Team All-Conference USA after leading the conference with 2,833 passing yards.  Ramsey was named the Offensive MVP of the 2002 Senior Bowl after leading three second-half scoring drives in the South’s 41-26 victory over the North.

A four-time member of the C-USA Honor Roll, Ramsey also appeared on the Dean’s List. He was selected by the Washington Redskins with the 32nd overall pick of the 2002 NFL Draft and started 24 games for the Redskins from 2002-05, throwing for 5,649 yards and 34 touchdowns. Ramsey was traded to the New York Jets and played one season in New York before signing with the Denver Broncos. He finished his NFL career with two seasons in Denver. Ramsey completed 511-of-913 passes for 5,930 yards and 35 touchdowns in his career.
