A four-year starter at offensive tackle for McNeese State, Wes Hines led the Cowboys to a 36-14 record, a Southland Conference title and an appearance in the 1997 Division I-AA national championship. A First Team All-Southland Conference and All-Louisiana selection, he was named the team’s offensive MVP. Compiling a 3.94 GPA in finance, Hines was a two-time Academic All-American and All-Southland selection and received the school’s Senior Scholarship Award. He earned his MBA from McNeese State and is currently a senior analyst for BP Wind in Houston.
