A three-year starter at linebacker for Troy, Nick Colbert led the Trojans to a 29-8 record, two Southland Conference titles and an appearance in the Division I-AA Quarterfinals in 1999. A First Team All-Southland Conference selection, he ranks 19^th in school history in tackles for loss (19). Compiling a 3.76 GPA in biology, Colbert received the school’s Clements Award as the scholar-athlete with the highest GPA.
