A two-year starter at tight end for Army, Shaun Castillo caught five passes for 77 yards and two touchdowns in his career. A co-captain of the 1999 Cadets, he was named Second Team All-C-USA. Castillo made the Dean’s List every semester and earned the West Point Leader Athlete Award, the Academy Superintendent’s Award and the Conference USA Commissioner Academic Medal. After four years of service, Castillo became the vice president of operations for Preferred Technologies, Inc., a cabling, electronic security, and wireless networking solutions provider in Houston. He has been the president of Preferred Technologies since 2009.
