A three-year starter at offensive tackle for Syracuse, Mark Baniewicz led the Orange to a 24-13 record, two Big East titles and a victory in the 1999 Music City Bowl. A co-captain of the 1999 team, he was named First Team All-Big East for his efforts. A two-time Academic All-American and four-time Academic All-Big East selection, Baniewicz was a member of the Syracuse Athletic Director’s Honor Roll every semester. He was selected in the seventh round (247th overall) of the 2000 NFL Draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars and played two seasons with the Jaguars.

Baniewicz earned his MBA from the University of North Florida in 2003 and is  the president and CEO of Socius Family Office, a wealth management firm in Boca Raton, Fla.
