A three-year starter at linebacker for Wisconsin-Oshkosh, Craig Pierstorff led the team in solo tackles all three seasons, accumulating nearly 200 solo tackles. The team leader in total tackles in 1998 (106), he registered 23 tackles for loss, three sacks and two interceptions. A two-time Second Team All- Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference selection, Pierstorff was named the 1999 WIAC Scholar-Athlete of the Year. A four-time member of the WIAC Honor Roll, he was named the school’s most outstanding chemistry student and was a regular member of the Dean’s List. Pierstorff earned his M.D. from the University of Wisconsin in 2004 and is currently an anesthesiologist for the Association of Hospital Anesthesiologists in Appleton, Wis.
