A two-year starter at safety for Brockport (N.Y.), Tom Massey was named a First Team All-American in 1997 after tying a school record for single-season interceptions (9). A two-time First Team Academic All-American, he compiled a 3.8 GPA in exercise physiology, the highest GPA of any Brockport male student-athlete since 1984. A member of the Dean’s List every semester, Massey was a member of Alpha Chi and named the SUNYAC Men’s Scholar-Athlete of the Year. He earned his master’s in physical therapy from Old Dominion in 2001 and currently manages the clinical operations at Core Physical Therapy in Mayfield Heights, Ohio. In 2008, Massey was inducted into the Brockport Athletics Hall of Fame.
