1A four-year performer at Missouri, quarterback Corby Jones ranks sixth in school history in career scoring (228), seventh in career total offense (6,230), eighth in career rushing yards (2,533, 2nd among quarterbacks), ninth in career passer rating (119.6) and 10th in career passing yards (3,697). In a 51-50 win over Oklahoma State in 1997, he was responsible for a school record six total touchdowns. In his final two seasons, Jones led the Tigers to a 15-9 record and a victory in the 1998 Insight.com Bowl while ranking in the top-10 of the Big 12 in every passing category. In 1997, he led the Big 12 in passing yards per attempt (8.7), passer rating (140.8) and total touchdowns (26). Jones finished his career with 257-of-516 passes completed for 3,697 yards and 26 touchdowns along with 559 carries for 2,533 yards rushing and 38 touchdowns. Compiling a 3.38 GPA in communications, he was a three-time First Team Academic All-Big 12 selection. Jones earned his J.D. from Missouri in 2003 and is currently an attorney with Shook, Hardy & Bacon, LLP, in Kansas City, Mo.
