A four-year starting kicker for Princeton, Alexander Sierk kicked a game-tying field goal in a 10-10 draw with Dartmouth to clinch an 8-1-1 record and an Ivy League title in 1995, their best finish and first outright title in 30 years. The recipient of the Class of ’52 Award as the special teams MVP, he holds the school record for consecutive field goals made (15). Sierk ranks second in school history in career field goals attempted (54) and single-season field goals made (18) and third in single-season field goals attempted (21) and career field goals made (36). The recipient of the Richard W. Colman Scholar-Athlete Award, he also ranks fourth in career extra points (76) and fifth in single-season extra points (27) and career scoring (184).

A First Team Academic All-American, Sierk compiled a 3.95 GPA in molecular biology and made the Dean’s List every semester. He received the Pyne Prize, Princeton’s highest academic and leadership honor. Sierk graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2005, where he also completed his orthodontic residency. He currently works alongside his father, Donald, at Sierk Orthodontics in Bettendorf, Iowa.
