A four-year starter on South Carolina State’s offensive line, Jerrell Moore started all but two games in his career, leading the Bulldogs to a 29-15 record and a 31-27 Heritage Bowl victory over College Football Hall of Fame coach Eddie Robinson and Grambling State. An All-American and four-time All-MEAC selection, he won the team’s Strongest Man Award. Compiling a 3.5 GPA in English, Moore was named an Academic All-American and made the Dean’s List every year. He served as president of his senior class and of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Moore earned his J.D. and master’s in human resources from the University of South Carolina in 2004 and is currently the vice president of diversity and inclusion for Time Warner Cable in Charlotte, N.C. In 2014, he received the South Carolina School of Business Distinguished Alumni Award and was named one of the Top 100 Most Influential Blacks in Corporate America by Savoy Magazine.
