A four-year letterman under College Football Hall of Fame coach Bill Snyder at Kansas State, center Jason Johnson helped the Wildcats to a 28-8 record and a victory in the 1995 Holiday Bowl. A co-captain of the 1996 team, he earned Second Team All-Big 12 honors and was selected to play in the Senior Bowl. A two-time Academic All-American and three-time First Team Academic All-Conference (SWC/Big 12) selection, Johnson compiled a 3.8 GPA in marketing and was a two-time K-State Outstanding Scholar-Athlete. He was signed by the Indianapolis Colts as a free agent and played two seasons in the NFL.
