A two-year starter at linebacker for Missouri S&T, Brian Gilmore led the Miners in tackles in 1995 and 1996, earning All- Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association honors both seasons. A co-captain of the 1996 squad, he finished his career second on the school’s career tackles list. A three-time Academic All-American, Gilmore compiled a 3.9 GPA in ceramic engineering. He earned his Ph.D. from Missouri S&T in ceramic engineering in 2001 and is currently a staff engineer for Pioneer Natural Resources Company, a large independent oil and gas company in Irving, Texas.
