Brad Culpepper produced a record-setting four years as a defensive tackle at Florida from 1988-91. In 1991, leading Florida's defense with 50 total tackles, he captained the Gators to their first Southeastern Conference Championship. A 1991 consensus First Team All-American, he also garnered First Team Academic All-American and unanimous First Team All-SEC honors.

His career statistics include 227 tackles, 47.5 tackles for a loss, 18 quarterback sacks, five forced fumbles, five fumble recoveries and four pass breakups. He was a second team All-American in 1990 and four-time member of the SEC Academic Honor Roll. Elected as student body vice president in 1991, he served as the student representative on the board of directors of the University Athletic Association.

Selected in the 10th round of the 1992 NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings, the Tallahassee, Fla., native joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers two years later. In his six years with the Buccaneers, Culpepper led the team in sacks twice and topped the defensive line in tackles four out of his six seasons. Culpepper finished his career with the Chicago Bears in 2000.

During the NFL offseason, Culpepper earned both a master's degree in sports administration and his law degree from Florida. After five years of working at a large Florida law firm, he opened up his own business, Culpepper Kurland, in March 2007. Active in the community, he has helped raise more than $300,000 for specific charities, including the Children's Miracle Network, Shands Hospital and Shriner's Hospitals for Children. He resides in Tampa with his wife and three children.
