Possessing all the attributes of the quintessential scholar-athlete, Eion Hu was a First Team All-State, All-Passaic County, All-Conference and All-Area as a running back for DePaul High School (N.J.). During his career, Hu rushed for 4,095 yards, averaging 8.1 yards per carry and 157 yards per game. He was a member of the National Honor Society, the Chemistry Team and the New Jersey Science League Team. Hu finished with a 5.54 GPA. He went on to star at Harvard, leading the team in rushing for three straight seasons from 1994-96. Hu is third in career rushing yards for the Crimson. He earned Ivy League Rookie of the Year honors in 1994, and he was named All-Ivy League three times. A member of the 1996 NFF National Scholar Athlete class, Hu graduated from Harvard with a degree in economics, and he is a senior partner at The Jordan Company, a private equity firm that specializes in buying and building companies.
