Considered the best player College Football Hall of Fame head coach Carm Cozza ever coached at Yale, lineman Kevin Czinger holds school record for single-season sacks (14) and career sacks (27). An Honorable Mention All-American, he was also named First Team All-Ivy League in 1980. The recipient of the Asa S. Bushnell Cup as the Ivy League MVP, Czinger helped the Bulldogs to a 21-5-2 record and back-to-back Ivy League titles.

He was also honored as the ECAC Player of the Year and received the Harry Agganis Award as the top senior in New England. He was a part of a Yale defense that ranked 12th in the nation in fewest points allowed in 1978 (12.7), sixth in 1979 (10.4) and 14th in 1980 (12.4). Czinger was named to the Ivy League Silver Anniversary and the Yale All-Era 1978-97 teams.

Czinger is the founder and CEO of Divergent Microfactories, Inc., a company working to revolutionize car manufacturing in San Francisco. He began his career serving in the U.S. Marine Corps and then worked as a lawyer trying some of the most prominent securities fraud cases of the late 1980s. Following stints in investment banking, venture, private equity and education, Kevin brought his passionate sense of social mission to the electric car movement. As CEO of Coda Automotive, he designed, built and certified one of the first all-electric automobiles.
