An Academic All-America and Academic All-ACC selection, Georgia Tech linebacker Sheldon Fox won the Georgia Architecture and Engineering Society’s Engineering Award and was a member of ODK. He maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA in electrical engineering. Fox earned his master’s in electrical engineering from Georgia Tech and his MBA from the University of North Carolina. He is also a graduate of the Harris WINGS management development program, the Defense Systems Management College at Fort Belvoir, the Mahler Advanced Management Program and the Harris Leadership Directions program at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.

Fox is currently the group president of Harris Corporation’s Government Communications Systems (GCS).Fox joined Harris Corporation, which provides advanced, technology-based solutions that solve government and commercial customers' mission critical challenges, in 1984 and has held positions of increasing responsibility, including vice president and general manager of GCS’s DoD Programs and vice president of Programs for DoD Communication Systems.

In 2008, he was named a Georgia Tech Distinguished Engineering Alumnus, and he currently serves on the Georgia Tech President’s Advisory Board. He also serves on the boards of Enterprise Florida, Inc., and the Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida. He is a member of the Aerospace Industries Association, Air Force Association, Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association, Association of the United States Army, Navy League, National Defense Industrial Association, Intelligence and National Security Alliance, United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation and United States Space Foundation.
