Captain of the 1980 Army football team, defensive tackle Stan March registered the most minutes played and ranked third on the team with 81 tackles made, including 10 for a loss. Named a Distinguished Cadet, he was First Captain and Brigade Commander of the Corps of Cadets and Regimental Commander during field training.

March graduated from West Point with a general engineering degree in 1981 and received his master’s in chemical engineering from Vanderbilt University in 1990. He served as Group Vice President of Investor Relations at STMicroelectronics from 2001-09 and is now the Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications at Landis + Gyr, which focuses on metering and other technologies that deal with energy management.
