Considered one of the top linebackers in Air Force history, Michael France ranks third in school history in career tackles (381) and seventh in single-season tackles (157). A Second Team All-WAC selection, he served as the team’s co-captain and was named the Defensive MVP following the 1981 season. The Falcons’ leading tackler in 1980, he received the Air Force Athletic Leadership Award. An Academic All-American and two-time Academic All-WAC selection, France maintained a 3.67 GPA in engineering sciences. France was relieved as commodore of Airborne Command & Control and Logistics Wing in April of 2022.
