A three-year offensive guard at Brown, Travis Holcombe played a key role in helping set numerous school records. Boasting a 3.9 GPA in biomedical engineering, he was named a First Team Academic All-American and the recipient of the Class of 1910 Football Trophy as the Brown player with the highest GPA. Holcombe earned his M.D. from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 1986 and completed his internship and residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in 1991.

He completed a plastic surgery residency at Emory University (Ga.) in 1993 and is currently an assistant clinical professor of surgery at Creighton University School of Medicine. Holcombe is also on the faculty of the Mayo Scottsdale Plastic Surgery Residency and trains surgery residents in the St. Joseph General Surgery program. He was listed as one of Arizona’s Top Doctors in 2001, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2011 and 2012.
