John McKee

A two-time All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference linebacker from Washington and Lee University (Va.), John McKee helped the Generals to a 14-6 record and the school’s first Old Dominion Athletic Conference title in 1981. He also contributed to the foundation of a string of six straight winning seasons from 1980-85. The president of SAE social fraternity, McKee was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and ODK. A two-sport athlete, he was also a two-time All-ODAC champion in shot put. McKee graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s of Science in engineering and a minor in Spanish from Washington and Lee in 1982 and a Bachelor’s of Science in civil engineering from Mississippi State University in 1984. He currently owns and manages a family agribusiness in the Mississippi Delta.
