Boasting a 3.6 GPA in political science at Kentucky, tight end Robert Mangas was an Academic All-SEC selection and received the UK Senior Scholastic Award. A member of ODK, he made the Dean’s List six semesters. Mangas was the Wildcats leader in receiving in 1982 (293) and also caught two touchdown passes. He earned his J.D. from Columbia Law School in 1986 and served as counsel, legislative director and chief of staff to U.S. Senator Wendell Ford from 1987-98. From 1999-2014, Mangas served as counsel and partner for Dickstein Shapiro, LLC. He is currently a shareholder with Greenberg Traurig in Washington, D.C.
