A co-captain of the 1982 Truman State (Mo.) football team, defensive lineman Roy Pettibone led the Bulldogs to a 9-2 record, the school’s second consecutive conference title and an appearance in the Division II Playoffs. A three-time All-Conference selection, he ranks eighth in school history in career sacks (18). A Second Team Academic All-American, Pettibone received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from Truman State and is currently an accounting instructor at Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Springs, Iowa. He also serves as an adjunct professor in the Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa.
