One of Princeton’s greatest all-time quarterbacks, Brent Woods holds school records for total offensive plays in a season (577), total offensive plays in a game (76), total offensive plays per game in a season (57.7), total offensive yards in a season (3,079), total offensive yards per game in a season (307.9) and single-season pass attempts (435). He is the only player in program history to record 70+ total offensive plays in a game, achieving the feat three times in the 1982 season. The recipient of the Charles W. Caldwell Memorial Trophy as the program’s most improved player, Woods also ranks in the top-10 in school history in virtually every passing category. He finished his career with 237-of-467 passes completed for 19 touchdowns and 2,859 yards.

Boasting a 3.77 GPA in public and international affairs, Woods served as Senior Class Day Chairman, a member of the Class of 1983 Steering Committee and an undergraduate delegate to the Council of Princeton University Community and the University Resources Committee. He earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School and his master’s in international studies from St. John’s College at Cambridge University. Woods joined Brandes Investment Partners, LP, in 1995 and served as the firm’s managing director before being named the company’s CEO.
