Winner of the NFF Chicago Chapter’s Scholar-Athlete Award and the Knute Rockne Scholar-Athlete Award, split end Mike Favorite compiled a 3.6 GPA in business administration at Notre Dame. A four-year letterman for the Fighting Irish, he caught nine passes for 140 yards in his career, helping the team to a 27-17-2 record and a victory in the 1983 Liberty Bowl. Favorite was a member of the Dean’s List, the Accounting Association and the NCAA Volunteers for Youth. He earned his MBA from the University of Texas in 1989 and has been a senior financial analyst for Notre Dame since 1993.
