A four-year starter at quarterback for Monmouth (Ill.) and two-time First Team All-Midwest Conference selection, Robb Long lived up to his family name, holding the school record for longest pass completion with a 95-yard touchdown strike to Dennis Lehr in 1982. The team leader in passing all four years, he ranks third in school history in career passing attempts (851); fourth in career rushing attempts by a quarterback (366) and career completions (367); fifth in career 200+ yard games (5), career rushing touchdowns by a quarterback (9), career passing yards (4,354) and career passing yards per game (120.9); sixth in career touchdowns responsible for by a quarterback (34) and career total offense (4,635); and seventh in career passing touchdowns (25). A First Team Academic All-American, Long graduated with a 3.86 GPA and honors in economics.
