He is the only quarterback in KU history with multiple 400-yard passing games in a career, boasting two in a row just this season. A 2007 Big 12 Second Team pick, he led the Jayhawks to the first back-to-back bowl game seasons in school history and holds a 25-8 record as a starter. Reesing has completed 826 passes for 10,006 yards and 83 touchdowns in his career.

The two-year team captain participates in elementary school and hospital visits and represents the university at various "meet and greet" events. He has also served as a teaching assistant within the KU School of Business for two semesters.

Reesing is the fourth NFF National Scholar-Athlete in Kansas history. He is currently a regional director for Dimensional Fund Advisors, a global investment firm.
