A two-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection, fullback Brad Youse was the  Wittenberg (Ohio) team leader in scoring in 1983 (48) and 1984 (48). Named the most improved player in 1983, he helped the Tigers to an 8-2 record and an appearance in the Ohio Athletic Conference championship. Youse graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology in 1985 and earned his M.D. from the Temple Medical School in 1989. After completing his residency at the University of Cincinnati Hospital and a fellowship in sports medicine in Baltimore, Youse moved to Lexington, Ky., and joined the practice of Richland Orthopedic Surgery. He passed away on Nov. 30, 2009, at the age of 46.
