Armando Basarrate graduated summa cum laude from Sewanee: The University of the South in 1986 and received his J.D. from Vanderbilt University in 1989. He is currently a member of the health industry practice group for the Atlanta law firm Parker, Hudson, Rainer & Dobbs. As one of the leading healthcare attorneys in his region, Basarrate has been recognized as a Georgia Super Lawyer by Law & Politics and Atlanta Magazine in 2008 and a leading healthcare practitioner by The Best Lawyers in America in 2009. As a member of the State Bar of Georgia Diversity Program Steering Committee and the Board of Directors of the Georgia Hispanic Bar Association, Armando is passionate about community involvement and improving diversity in the legal profession.
