A three-year letterman at defensive tackle for Notre Dame, Greg Dingens helped the Fighting Irish to a 19-15 record and a 19-18 victory over Boston College in the 1983 Liberty Bowl. Compiling a 3.78 GPA as a pre-med student, he was a three-time Academic All-American and two-time recipient of the Knute Rockne Scholar-Athlete Award. The winner of the Byron V. Kanaley Award as the school’s most outstanding scholar-athlete, Dingens made the Dean’s List every semester and worked as a tutor for the Big Brothers program. He earned his J.D. from Harvard in 1992 and is currently a partner for Siena Capital Partners and Monroe Financial Partners in Chicago.
