A wide receiver for Santa Clara who ranks second in school history in single-game receiving yards (220), David Drummond graduated with a bachelor’s in history and earned his J.D. from the Stanford Law School. As a partner at a leading Palo Alto, Calif., technology law firm Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in 1998, he served as the first legal counsel for Google. Drummond joined Google in 2002 and serves as senior vice president, corporate development and chief legal officer. He serves on the board of directors of Uber Technologies, Inc., KKR & Co. L.P., and Rocket Lawyer Inc. He retired in 2020.
