A four-year starter at defensive end for Holy Cross, Tom Patton was a two-time First Team All-New England and All-ECAC selection. A Second Team All-American in 1984, he made 82 tackles, seven sacks, two pass breakups and two interceptions. The 1985 co-captain and Crusader of the Year helped Holy Cross to a 27-14-2 record. A Second Team Academic All-American, Patton maintained a 3.41 GPA in economics and accounting. A resident assistant and student government representative, he was also involved in the Athletic Council, Purple Key and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Patton earned his J.D. from Georgetown in 1989 and currently serves as president and CEO of CAS Medical Systems, a leading developer of innovative, non-invasive vital signs monitoring technologies and products that deliver accurate, reliable patient data, in Branford, Conn.
