A four-year letterman at offensive tackle for SMU, Doug Rice helped the Mustangs to a 32-14 record, a SWC title and a 1984 Holiday Bowl victory. An Academic All-American, he compiled a 3.42 GPA in accounting and was a member of the Dean’s List and the Beta Alpha Psi Honorary Accounting Fraternity. Rice received his MBA from SMU in 1988 and became a Certified Public Accountant in 1990. He is currently the CFO of Orthofix, a diversified, international medical device company focused on improving patients' lives by providing superior reconstructive and regenerative orthopedic and spine solutions to physicians worldwide headquartered in Lewisville, Texas.
