A four-year letterman at defensive tackle for Louisiana-Monroe, Mike Yost was a member of the 1983 Southland Conference champion Warhawks. An Academic All-American,  he graduated with a bachelor’s in marketing in 1987 and earned his MBA from Louisiana-Monroe in 1989. Yost is currently the executive director of marketing for Indiana University Health.
