A speech communication major at Penn State, defensive tackle Matthew Johnson maintained a 3.26 GPA while starring on the gridiron under College Football Hall of Fame coach Joe Paterno. Johnson helped the Nittany Lions to a 37-10 record and a National Championship in 1986. He was a member of ODK, Lion Ambassadors, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Second Mile Program. Johnson earned his MBA from Penn State in 1989 and is currently the senior managing director for Guggenheim Partners, a global investment and advisory financial services firm.
