A co-captain of the 1988 Texas football team, linebacker Lee Brockman led the team in tackles for loss (12). He was named Southwest Conference Player of the Week in 1987 after returning an interception 43 yards for a touchdown in a 24-21 win over TCU. Compiling a 3.42 GPA in marketing, Brockman was a two-time Academic All-SWC selection and a member of the Dean’s List every year. He is currently a teacher and an assistant football coach at Greenwood High School in Midland, Texas.
