A four-year starter at offensive tackle for the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, Jeff Peters was a two-time All-ECAC selection and was part of the 1988 team that finished 9-1 and beat Plymouth State (N.H.) 28-19 to win the ECAC North Bowl Championship. He paved the way for still-standing records of single-game rushing yards (463), single-season rushing yards (3,414) and longest run (97). An Academic All-American, Peters compiled a 3.65 GPA in civil engineering and earned his master’s in civil engineering from the University of Illinois in 1992. He is currently the facilities manager for Parker Hannifin, the world's leading diversified manufacturer of motion and control technologies and systems.
