A three-year letterwinner at SMU, wide receiver Mitchell Glieber served as a co-captain of the 1989 squad and caught 49 passes for 549 yards and a touchdown. An Academic All-American and Academic All-SWC selection, he compiled a 3.6 GPA in finance and television/radio and made the Dean’s List every semester. Glieber is currently the president of the State Fair of Texas. He spent more than 15 years on the State Fair’s marketing team and previously spent 10 years on the Dallas Mavericks marketing team. Glieber is president of the SMU Letterman’s Association and an active member of the Dallas Salesmanship Club, a non-profit organization dedicated to transforming children’s futures by serving at-risk families in the Greater Dallas area. He also serves as the president of the State Fair of Texas.
