A four-year letterman at receiver for USC, John Jackson helped the Trojans to a 34-13-1 record, three consecutive Pac-10 titles and a 17-10 victory over Michigan in the 1990 Rose Bowl. The team leader in receiving (964) in 1989, he was named First Team All-Pac-10 and was invited to play in the East-West Shrine Game. Ranking in the top-10 of the Pac-10 in receptions, receiving yards and touchdowns in 1988 and 1989, Jackson ranks 10th in school history in career receptions (163) and 20th in single-season receptions (62). He finished his career with 163 catches for 2,109 yards and 17 touchdowns. A two-time Academic All-American, Jackson compiled a 3.3 GPA in finance. He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Phoenix Cardinals and played three seasons, catching nine passes for 113 yards and a touchdown. Jackson played one season with the Chicago Bears before retiring from the NFL. He is currently a sports commentator who works for ESPN Radio 710 and Fox Sports Network West in Los Angeles.
