An Honorable Mention All-American wide receiver from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Anthony Lapes holds school records for career receiving yards per game (72.4), career yards per catch (19.05), single-game receiving yards (225) and single-game touchdowns (3). The team leader in receiving in 1988 (623) and 1989 (463), he ranks second in school history in single-season yards per catch (19.47), career games of 100+ receiving yards (5); third in single-season yards per game (89) and single-season games of 100+ receiving yards (3); fourth in career touchdown receptions (11) and single-season touchdown receptions (6); and 10th in career receiving yards (1,086), single-season receiving yards (623) and career all-purpose yards per game (72.2). A versatile player, the ECAC All-Star ranks second in single-game yards punted (349) and single-game punts (10); eighth in career yards punted (1,666); and ninth in career punts (54). Lapes served as the director of Baylor University’s Hankamer School of Business Casey Computer Center since 2006.
