A co-captain of College Football Hall of Fame coach Jim Sochor’s 1989 UC Davis football team, fullback James Tomasin earned First Team All-Northern California Athletic Conference honors. The two-time UC Davis Outstanding Back helped the Aggies to a 23-8-1 record, three consecutive conference titles and two Division II Playoff appearances. An Academic All-American, Tomasin earned a bachelor’s in physiology from UC Davis and a master’s in physical therapy from the University of the Pacific. A physical therapist for more than 22 years, he is currently the owner of Maxim Physical Therapy in Cottonwood, Calif.
