Named the captain of the 1989 North Carolina football team, offensive tackle Kevin Donnalley was a Third Team All-American and Second Team All-ACC selection. An Academic All-American and two-time Academic All-ACC selection, he compiled a 3.4 GPA. Donnalley was selected in the third round (79th overall) of the 1991 NFL Draft by the Houston Oilers and logged 67 starts in seven seasons with Houston/Tennessee. He finished his career with three seasons each with the Miami Dolphins and Carolina Panthers, and he appeared in Super Bowl XXXVIII with the Panthers. Donnalley anchored a Carolina offensive line that allowed only 26 sacks in 2003, a team record for fewest sacks allowed in a season, and helped the Panthers rush for a team-record 2,091 yards, including a team-individual mark of 1,444 yards by Stephen Davis. He is currently the director of high school relations for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hil.
