A two-year starting quarterback for Missouri, Kent Kiefer ranks third in single-game passing yards (444), fourth in career pass efficiency (126.8), eighth in career passing yards (4,497), ninth in career total offense (4,169) and 10th in single-season passing yards (2,314). In 1990, he led the Big 8 in pass completions (165), completion percentage (60), passing yards (2,183), passing yards per attempt (7.9), passing touchdowns (11) and pass efficiency (129). Kiefer finished his career with 348-of-589 passes completed for 4,497 yards and 23 touchdowns. An Academic All-American, he compiled a 3.6 GPA in business logistics and marketing sales and earned his MBA from Arizona State in 1994. Kiefer is currently the executive director and CEO of Scriptures in Use, which provides church planters in-country training opportunities.
