MIT linebacker Darcy Prather holds the school record for single-season tackles after racking up 123 in 1990, earning Honorable Mention All-America, All-ECAC and All-New England honors. The team leader in tackles in 1988 (117), 1989 (92) and 1990 (123), he ranks second in school history in career tackles (332) and single-game tackles (23). A two-time Academic All-American, Prather became the first and only MIT scholar-athlete to win a Rhodes Scholarship in 1990. He earned a master’s in philosophy, politics and economics from the University of Oxford in 1993. Prather is currently the president of Kalion, Inc., an early stage industrial biotech company in Boston.
