The team leader in tackles (105), sacks (3) and punting yards (967), defensive end Rodrigo Rubiano was a versatile performer for MIT. An Honorable Mention All-American, his 105 tackles rank eighth in school history for a single-season total. An Academic All-American, Rubiano compiled a 3.84 GPA in nuclear engineering and was a member of Tau Beta Pi. He earned his master’s in nuclear engineering from MIT in 1993 and is currently a divisional vice president and business unit manager for AMETEK Micro-Poise, a supplier of equipment used by tire and wheel assembly manufacturers.
