A two-time All-American and First Team All-North Central Conference selection, North Dakota wide receiver Tim Gelinske ranks eighth in school history in career receptions (138) and career receiving yards (1,777) and 10th in career touchdown receptions (16). The NCC’s leading receiver in 1991, he was named to North Dakota’s All-Century team. A co-captain of the 1992 squad, Gelinske led North Dakota to the Division II Playoffs and caught nine passes for 129 yards and a touchdown in the first round loss to No. 1 Pittsburg State (Kan.) A First Team Academic All-American and three-time Academic All-NCC selection, he compiled a 3.91 GPA in public relations and sociology and was named the NCC Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 1992. Gelinske earned his J.D. from Northwestern University in 1996 and is currently the senior vice president of Bell Bank in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
