A four-year letterman for Michigan State, safety Steve Wasylk was a two-time Honorable Mention All-Big Ten selection and received the Tommy Love Award as the team’s most improved player in 1992. A two-time First Team Academic All-American and four-time Academic All-Big Ten selection, he compiled a 3.95 GPA in civil engineering and received the Potsy Ross Award as the team’s top scholar-athlete. Wasylk is currently the deputy managing director of operations for the Livingston County (Mich.) Road Commission.
